Consent to the storage and processing of personal data

Where the opportunity exists for visitors to the site to enter personal or business-related data (email addresses, names, addresses), or where data is sent to the author by email, the entering of such data is made on the part of the user on a voluntary basis. As far as is required in relation to the website offer, the data will be processed and stored electronically in compliance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The sender of the data declares, upon said submission, his/her consent to the electronic processing for the purpose of the website offer (access to the download area). The sender can revoke the consent to the storage and use of the data at any time. On written request, we will inform the user of the website with regards to the personal data stored, which pertains to him/her. The request is to be made in writing to our address specified in the legal notice on the website.

Registration function

The data entered during registration will be stored and used exclusively for the purposes of the offer. The user can be informed via e-mail about offers or registration-relevant information such as changes to the scope of the offer, or technical circumstances. The data collected are shown in the input fields during the registration process.

Registration function and handling of personal data

Upon a downloading of the files made available by the provider, information on the access made (file, user name, IP address, date, time, browser used) may be stored. This data is used solely for statistical purposes. Disclosure to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes shall not take place.

Access Data

The webspace provider shall collect data on each access to the offer (Server logfiles). The following are included in access data: The name of the requested web page, the file, date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred, notification of a successful request, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, Referrer URL (the previously visited page), the IP-address and the requesting provider. The provider shall use the log data solely for statistical evaluation for the purposes of operation, security and optimisation of the service. The provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log files, if legitimate suspicion of illegal use exists, based on concrete evidence.
